Why You Should Swap Your Conditioner for a Hair Mask
Most hair masks are recommended for once-a-week use, but various beauty editors at Allure magazine admit to using a deep conditioning mask in place of their regular conditioner. Are there any benefits to this or are they just wasting product? For fine and short hair, cosmetic chemist Ni'Kita Wilson suggests sticking to a regular, lightweight conditioner. Hair masks are too heavy for thin hair. But if you are rocking long tresses, she says go ahead and load up on the deep conditioners! "Long hair is old, it needs more attention," she claims.
